Job Description:

We are looking to provide more families with Registered Social Workers who can deliver their assessment and support services through a neurodiverse lens; clinicians with a particular interest and understanding of complex neurodevelopmental disorders including the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.

We are looking for clinicians who can conduct comprehensive social work assessments, and who are comfortable investigating details of possible prenatal exposures. We are passionate about developing collaborative care-plans, linking with community supports, as well as providing case management when required.

We are looking for clinicians who are competent and confident in providing individual counseling and consultation to individuals and families who experience the impact of PAE/FASD.

You will be expected to monitor individual and family wellness which includes being open to working flexible hours and being creative when delivering supports and services ie. Individual, group, in community, on-line and in office/studio work.

We know that Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders/FASD are whole body and whole family experiences so all of us are expected to pay close attention to physical, social, and emotional well-being while being prepared to contribute to multi-disciplinary team assessments as required.

We are looking for people who have participated in specialized training above and beyond their post-secondary education and special consideration will be given to clinicians who have attended the on-line training course for Social Workers and Front-line Practitioners.
